I knew right away who it was. Giggling to myself, I saved him in my phone as Daddy, then sent him a response.

Princess: We just saw each other. *winking emoji*

Daddy: I’ve got a lot of time to make up for. I wish I was able to wake up with you in my arms.

Talk about swooning. I felt like I was going to pass out with the sweet way he spoke to me.

I wanted to do something special, so I took a picture of me and my stuffy in bed.

Princess: Wish you were here too Daddy.

The message and photo seemed bold, but I was willing to risk a little something. This was our own private way of communicating. No one else would know.

It took a minute for him to respond. When it loaded, I nearly dropped the phone. The picture was a shot of him shirtless in bed.

Daddy: You look perfect. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow. Get some sleep, Princess. *snoring emoji*
